The bell, as shown in pic 4 rings whenever the drawer is opened. You have to press on the pulls ,pic 5, to open it. The coin drawer is removable for bills to fit under it. This is a complete piece, hard to find, especially with the locking mechanism and bell. The top of the drawer is stamped National Till Co. , Cash Drawer, Nashua, NH. You will love this piece. Thanks for looking.   I just received word from a cash register membership Committee that the age of this is at least 90 yrs. old. I contacted them for information they might know of this company because it is no longer in business and I could not find any info on the web.
