It is from the 1880's with all original paint and parts! Some of the paint has worn off over the years, but for how old this bank is, it's still in great, great condition! It is very heavy cast iron and is still in excellent working condition! The coin gets put into Santa's hand, and when the lever is pushed, Santa's arm moves and drops the coin into the chimney.
