Description
A must have for any safe enthusiast or Colorado history buff. Not sure when it was made but, probably around the late 1800's, it's very old and in wonderful shape. The safe is overall black in color and has what appear to be all the original paintings of a farm/country scene on the double exterior doors with Hall's Lock & Safe Co., Denver & Cincinnati and below that Charpiot Safe, Denver, CO, and a painting of the Hall Safe Co. Factory. The inside of both exterior doors are adorned with floral paintings. On the double interior doors a mountain scene painting with Hall's Lock & Safe Co. There is lots of fancy scroll work, no dents or rust, there is a rub mark on the painting on the front left door and scratches here and there, a few paint chips but, otherwise for being so old, its beautiful! There are a few old green paint drips and spatters around the back probably because it was too heavy to move away from a wall to paint but, they are minor. Behind the interior double doors are the original wood shelves and two locking compartments w/key. The safe appears to be all original, right down to the old tapestry looking carpet in the bottom, not restored in any way and we do have the combination and the lock works. It is extremely heavy, measuring just over 5' (61") tall from the metal wheels up, 34" wide and 32" deep. We will try to answer questions to the best of our ability. Buyer is responsible for all arrangements pertaining to moving and/or shipping and all shipping costs. All reasonable offers considered! Thank you!
