The WD5 is very popular due to the fact that is the most compact of the refridgerated "dry" coolers but chills a couple hundred bottles or cans. It measures 28"x28"x28". It is called a "dry" cooler as it is refridgerated and doesn't use ice or chilled water to cool it's contents. This machine was a very nice one to begin with. It was completely dissasembled, sandblasted, primed and painted with a durable urethane paint. The lettering, which is embossed on all 4 sides and the top, was hand painted by a professional sign painter. The refridgeration was completely gone through and the thermostat and wiring was replaced. Casters were added for easy moving of the machine. The hinges and the Westinghouse logo were rechromed. The handle is the rarer metal version and was chromed as well. The interior pan was powdercoated and the interior dividers and shelves were zinc plated and the seals were redone. This is truely a beautifully and professionally restored machine!
