When I purchased the saw, I picked out the curly maple wood handle with the most beautiful, highly figured grain pattern. It has been sitting in its original box in my office closet ever since. The original box, packaging and literature are included with the saw. I’m offering several Lie-Nielsen tools that have seen little or no use. So please be sure to check out my other items. Here is some additional information from Lie-Nielsen's website: Dovetail Saw Since dovetailing is a ripping operation, where the kerf is running with the grain, our Dovetail Saw has its teeth filed to a rip profile, unlike other dovetail saws on the market today. With 15 points per inch, this Saw strikes an ideal balance between surface finish and speed. Teeth are set at .003" (.076mm) per side for a .026" (.66mm) kerf — narrow for straight cutting. Length, including handle, is 14" (35.56cm), with an overall height of 4¼" (10.79cm). Useable blade dimensions are 9" (22.86cm) long by 1-5/8" (4.12cm) deep (.020" (.5mm) thick).
