Description
kropas Store Rare 1940's Vendo Coca-Cola Bottle Vending Machine Found in the basement of a local estate - original 1940's era Coca-Cola bottle vending machine made by Vendo of Kansas City, Mo. It is the rare model F83FW with serial number F34325. The front has "Drink Coca-Cola" in large embossed raised letters. Measures 64" tall, 32 1/2" wide and 18 1/2" deep. It was last used around 2 years ago and it worked and chilled fine. It has some light surface scratches, the top has a small patch of surface oxidation where a pipe in the basement had dripped a bit of water on it. It comes basically complete with the original lock and key. About the only thing I see missing is the small metal box used to catch the caps after opening; a cardboard replacement has been used. The front bottom edge kick plate has become slightly bent but is a very easy fix - are photos show it unattached as we did not have time to make the adjustments but really quite easy. Check the photos of this wonderful piece of Americana vending. For an unrestored all original Vendo machine I would call it fine. Local pick-up only or we can assist with having it picked up by shipping company but please make your own arrangements.
