Description I'm listing an extremely nice and extremely rare original cast iron antique bank from the late 1800s, early 1900s . It's called the  "Jewel Chest" or Coffin Bank. CIRCA. 1889. This bank measures 6-1/8" by 4-5/8" tall. Made from cast iron.  The bank is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks and displays great. Sparkling clean !!!  A hard one to find in this kind of condition. ***Please note: The brass combo lock is in pieces, but can be reassembled (I took it apart to show you), the top latch is chipped as seen in photo 3 (easy fix), and the bank seems to have been re-plated at one time. However, this is still a stunning bank that displays beautifully!!! Incredible scroll work and detail! The beauty of this bank is in the details.
