These machines were built around 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. This one is a gumball machine and so it is NOT corroded on the inside as the peanut machine are from the salt and peanut oil. The main shaft that turns is not rusted and looks like new as you can see in two of the photos.This machine takes nickels and works great without any problems. The original key and lock with all of the internal guts are included.I have only lighted polished with a brass polishing pad the outside. The glass is in perfect shape and the sticker is an original. The only part that shows tarnish is the base that the machine is mounted to and it could be polished out better or sent to the chrome shop. These base pans were never a bright chrome finish and it didn't take much for them to look tarnished from normal use. The pictures tell the story and I tried to show as much as I could. The spring on the inside is not rusted, but the photo came out looking like it is just in case you might look at it and think that it is.
