Description
This is a vintage postage stamp vending machine. I'm not sure of the year it was made. The printing on the front says " A Product of the Northwestern Corporation, Morris, Illinois". It appears to take dimes as the coin slots are thin. There are two coin slots on the top, one for each side, and a crank on each side which turns to dispense the stamps. This machine is made of steel, the base is cast iron and plastic covers the gold face and the spaces beside the coin slots. The crank handles are porcelain coated metal. The left one rotates fully but the right on rotates only about 1/2 of the way. The key is included but will not unlock the lock nor will the key come out. I have not tried to force it to work. Overall, this machine is in very good shape. There is some slight surface rust, mostly around the base and some slight paint peeling and nicks here and there. There are some white paint splatters on the face but they should come off. This machine could be restored very easily. Overall dimensions are: 14 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" wide and 8 1/4" deep. This is a very heavy machine, weighing 22 pounds! Shipping will be by USPS parcel post or UPS ground. If you choose UPS, please have a street address available to ship this to. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost to be calculated to buyer's destination. PLEASE USE THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks.
